Understanding the Warning Label on Specific Alln1 SuperBlend Products

Some Alln1 SuperBlend products include traces of "heavy metal minerals" absorbed from the environment, prompting the State of California to mandate our company (and many others) to display the Proposition 65 warning label on food products with lead content. While we acknowledge the significance of this legal requirement, we hold a respectful difference of opinion regarding its comprehensive application. We encourage our esteemed customers to assess the lead content in Alln1 SuperBlend products by comparing it with levels found in other everyday whole foods. We remain committed to transparency and providing you with the information needed to make informed choices about our products.

What is Prop 65?

The Proposition 65 initiative, formally known as The Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986, was enacted in California. This legislation mandates the state to publish a list of chemicals recognized to cause cancer or birth defects or reproductive harm. Since its inception in 1986, the list has expanded to encompass approximately 800 chemicals. California sets a maximum allowable daily level for each chemical, referred to as a safe harbor limit. These limits are calculated with a threshold of 1,000 times below an observable effect limit, often derived from animal studies. Notably, California's limits are more stringent than those recognized nationally and internationally by the FDA, EPA, WHO, and EU.

Is Alln1 SuperBlend Safe?

Absolutely. Ensuring food safety is our top priority. We adhere to stringent guidelines established by the Federal Drug Administration (FDA). By employing industry-leading manufacturing practices, we aim to minimize heavy metal content and avoid introducing contaminants during the production process.

Why Don't Other Similar Products Carry Warnings?

The absence of a warning on a product does not necessarily indicate the absence of substances or compliance with specified limits. At Alln1 SuperBlend, we take special care to adhere to all relevant regulations in the locations where our product is sold and used. This commitment prompts us to display a warning regarding our lead levels, emphasizing our dedication to transparency and providing you with the highest quality and safest products possible.
